Butch Cassidy

Butch Cassidy (real name Robert Leroy Parker) began rustling cattle at an early age and soon graduated to trains and banks. Jailed in 1894, he learned of an outlaw hideout called "Hole-in-the-Wall" located in Wyoming. That's where he headed when released from prison in 1896. Surrounding himself with a group of outlaws called the "Wild Bunch," Cassidy went on a train-robbing spree that lasted until 1901. He and the Sundance Kid (Harry Longbaugh) fled to South America soon after this picture was taken.
